  • "Maya, Brahm and Jeeva"
There is a lot of discussion about Maya, Brahm and Jeeva, some traitwadi accept all three eternal, some dualists consider Jeeva and Brahm as eternal, and Advait says "Jeeva Brahmaiv na Para:" means there is only Brahm.
"Maya Ish na aapu kahun jaan kahiya so Jeeva"
The meaning of this couplet written by Tulsidas ji has been taken differently from different allegiances.
Traitwadi said- Who neither knows Maya, nor Bhagwan, nor himself, he is Jeeva.
Dualist said- Who neither knows Maya's lord, Mayapati Bhagwan, nor knows himself, he is Jeeva.
Ramanujacharya says that as hand is not separate from the body, but hand is not the body, likewise Jeeva is not separate from Brahm, but Jeeva is not Brahm, it is Ang-Angi Nyay.
